Default 1944 War Department Photo of Utah Desert

Saw this on the Library of Congress public archives. Looks to me like a view from Arches or Canyonlands National Park towards the La-Sal's.

Scanned from an archival transparency. I would guess Kodachrome, huh?

Not bad for the 1940's. Anyone recognize the scene?
