An image from Giants showing a bit more of the environment.
It was getting dark due to storm clouds hense the high ISO.
Wing position could be better but thougth that I would still post.

Great shot of an amazing bird. I like the head turn in this image. Wonderful soft light and very good BG.

How I love those Bearded giants, It seems like a superb place to photogarph them.
Like the head turn towrds you and the open frame works well for me in this one.
I think the colors are a bit blueish.

Perfect head turn Dave, and I like the gliding posture. Amazing colours in the BG too. I like the space you have given him. Well captured.

    Yes, it looks better.
I think that warming the colors in ACR will give the best results

The repost is better but I am afraid that I am the minority of one here. With the bird flat as a pancake and small in the frame, the impact of the image for me is minimal....

Arthur thanks for your honest opinion, at least it has minimal impact and not no impact.:)
I do agree that showing more wing is better, but most of the time these birds glide in the updraft with little wing movement. Must just wait for a banking, or landing shot, I suppose.:o
