    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x
    Full frame plus canvas added in front...

    Very nice action and composition, great blacks with plenty of detail,
    excellent HA and eye contact. Can't believe this is from a kayak hand-held
    with all that mm. Like it, we don't see too many Auks from the W coast here.
    Perhaps I'd leave more space, might be even better comp that way.

    Glenn, Excellent exposure and body posture. Love the blur in the wings and feet. Very sharp and love the water droplets. I'd prefer some more room up top and a little to the left. Congrats.

    Shooting from a Kayak gives you the perfect angle. Well timed for the take off sprint, and you have exposed this nicely,and sharp where it counts.

    Great shot Glenn, lovely low angle

    as stated abouve, i would like a little more room on the left and i can see a white halo around the bird probably caused by the highlight / shadow slider.

    Light, action, pose, colors, angle, sharpness are all great.
