My recent trip to AK for brown bears proved spectacular, with tons of sockeye salmon heading upstream to spawn in remote wilderness the action was nothing short of amazing.

Wow, I'm in love with the action and power in this shot. Nice color,
excellent focus on the face/eyes. I'd consider taking a little off the top,
to help focus the shot to where he is heading. Again wonderful action shot.

Oh man, opportunity very well used here. Impressive intensity in the bear's eye that you captured here and the water wave action is over the top. Well done sir!

    Chas,
Wow! Spectacular image. At 10 frames a second, how were the other frames?

Where in Alaska were you? Katmai, the coast?

    And 300 mm -- that's pretty close..

Oh my Lord - What a shot!
I'm not sure I would've had the presence of mine to press the shutter.

This is a killer image Charles. Love how the bear appears to be staring down its prey! I am breathless. Must have been an awesome spectacle.

We have friends travelling to Alaska in a week to do some rehab work with bears for a month. Where were you if you would be kind to share? PM is ok if you prefer.
