Default Sea Otter - In its own world

I took this picture a while back, never saw an Otter on Land. It was kinda very old it seems.
I tried my best to capture this otter in a playful mode. I liked this pose much better than the one with direct eye contact.
As like always would like to know your opinion.

    EOS 50D, 100-400 @ 400mm
    1/2000, f/7.1
    -1/3

    Cropped a bit for composition

    Thanks.

    Hi Nagesh,

Love the pose and low angle you captured in this image. My only thoughts is I would have liked to see it a little off centered, Less room on the right and a tad more on the left if that is possible. Good eye contact and detail and a most pleasing BG. Many thanks for sharing.

When I saw the sand, I was thinking along your lines Nagesh. :) These guys rest in floating seaweed.
I agree with Judy Lynn's suggestion regarding the crop. Nice pose and it holds my interest. :)

Other tan being centered, I love the "top model" pose and the clean BG. Way to go.

Nice tanning pose...Afree with Judy as the Otter is a bit centered.
