    Default Boris the Spider

someone brought one of these into my office. I had to take a picture. Placed him on a glossy white card stock brochure and shot him with the G10 hh with flash

processed in CS 4; evenly blew out background and added some vibrance on the spider and this is the result.

    Camera: Canon PowerShot G10
    Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture: f/4.0
    Focal Length: 6.1 mm
    Exposure: 0.00
    ISO Speed: 80
    Exposure Bias: 0 EV
    Flash: On at -1 Ev

Kind of buggy, Michael, but neat! ;)

A lower angle might have helped, but you get what you got! ;) :D

You did get eye contact ... I think.

Won't comment on ROT placement. Understand not wanting to move him too much.

Nice image! Just kidding on the above... I think! ;)

Hi Michael...Like the HK effect and the reddish brown color of the spider.Everything is sharp and placed at a good angle...

It was a spur of the moment thing I did not want to get any background from the office .....but he did smile at me as you noted...

Like all the shadows from the flash. Nice and sharp. Don't think I would be placing this guy on a card or coming anywhere near.:)

Like the high-key look of this, Michael. Great details and eye contact on the spider. Just two suggestions: I notice a little grey on the edge of the frame in the lower left corner that I would remove, and I would position the spider a little closer to the top left corner. Very nice image!
