    40D 300 2.8 at f7 1/1000 ISO200
    Shot from car at Bosque. He was real interested in a grub and I was able to take several images. This is the one I like best.When I get the skills I'll clone out twig in front.

    Nice and close image of this bird, Ladder-backed? Could go a bit lighter and a some more contrast also. Only real negative for me is the twig coming from the bottom and cutting off the tail. Good light and details, could go a bit sharper also.

    Nice sharpness, exposure and specimen.
    The twig has been covered. IMO having the bird parallel to the image plane or facing the camera would make this a stronger image.

    Great find, good basic COMP, and sharp but another arrest for the HAP (Head Angle Police)> Gettng rid of the branch will require some time and good technique but you will do better with
