    Default Juvenile Brahminy Kite

This was shot near Bangalore in India.
A lot of Brahminy Kites were diving and swooping on carrion. It was a delightful treat for the eyes...

Shot with Canon EOS 350D with a 28-135mm IS at 135mm (Full Frame)
    Shutter Speed 1/1000
    F/5.6
    ISO 400

    Hi Bibhav,
I like the flight angle on your bird...a few points to consider...composition wise, I would give it more room at the top and at the bottom, its a tad tight. also would crop from the right side of the frame about 1/4...the mid-tones need to be adjusted and would consider lightening the area around the eyes and the under wings too. you have good details in the feathers. The eye could use a bit more sharpening...looking forward to your next one...

Hi Bibhav....Nice wing angle. I agree with Gus and would suggest a highlight / shadow adjustment in photoshop. Hope to see more of your work!

    Hello Bibhav,
It sounds like you had quite an aerial show to photograph! If you decide to rework your image per Gus's recommendation, have a go at the dust spots too, at least 3 of them. You might want to clean your sensor. I'll bet if you follow Gus's suggestions, you'll like this image even more. Great first post and nice work!
