Great timing, Kobus - love the up-splash, wings, BG and HA. You might open the shadows just a little and maybe intensify the catchlight. Nice capture!

Lovely timing Kodus.. loved the HA and wing position., the splash adds very well here, all I wished was a little more sharpness on the bird.. still a very pretty image.. congrats..

I wouldn't mind another round of sharpening for web, and I'd prefer more room above and in front. Excellent "blast-off" pose though. Good forward wing position, and nice job on the exposure.

Kobus, Lots of positives going for this image. It has a great wing forward pose, exposure is right on and I love the water as well. I would like to see a little more room in the frame, all around. It does look a little soft from here. Again great action and timing.

    Good Shooting!

A little soft, but great action. Like the background and wing position.

Excellent blast off shot Kobus. Like a tad more room and another round of sharpening would polish it off nicely.

Well timed Kobus, and Im glad you included the splash. For that ss, you should have got this a tad sharper. I like the colours in the water.
