The IQ in your recent images Dave, is amazing. I like the take off posture, forming a super banking angle. Well exposed, and this is tack sharp. I like the breeding colours on the beak, and great eye too. Well captured.

Wonderful dynamic pose captured with good exposure and sharpness.
The breeding colours are a nice bonus.

Great pose bg and pose well done. I would have liked the eye a bit brighter. Still well done

Lovely take-off pose, and the breeding colours are quite beautiful. I love your sky and trees BG. I'm undecided about the branches at left - perhaps if the tangle wasn't as big...but it still gives an anchor point to where the egret has come from. You could try minimizing the shadow on the near wing, and I agree on lightening the eye juat a bit more.

Nice capture Dave! Love the tension in the feet/leg position. I'd like to see less space above and more below as the birds seems to be dropping down here. Great job exposing the whites, amazing how much + compensation you can get away with when using the mk3.

    Good Shooting!

Wonderful. As mentioned the IQ is fabulous as are the details. With Daniel on the branches. They do provide an anchor point, but part of me could live without them.

Wonderfull detail, exppsure, BG, sharpnessm species, colors and comp. I only wish for a better rear wing position and would try less room on top and more at the bottom.
    Congratulations!
