I photographed this lady almost a year ago. Thought it deserved the reflection treatment.

Thanks heaps to Denise who so kindly posted a link to the Photoshopessentials tutorial. Without that my entries this week would be almost non-existent. :)

Here is a link to the original I posted in the Avian forum ages ago.

    Thanks for stopping by. :)

Hi Akos, Credit to Denise's help and your excellent handling of the image. The head is very sharp along with the pleasing backround and reflection. Nice lighting and a good comp! What more can I say...

wow, this is good!!! the only thing i might do to it is blend the area of water being pushed by the bird with the one in the reflection. that's about the only thing that makes it look like a flip. great pic chosen for this treatment. i love it!

Lovely image, Akos. I love the "notched" look to the neck and head in the reflected area. Good sharpness and detail and the colors really compliment each other.

sweet image....agree with Harold, the blue wake flip is just a bit unnatural.

    "maybe".....just maybe something like this.
Rectangular marquee the bottom and nudge up

Thanks friends. Dave, I was trying to fix the reflection but I just doubled the RAM in my laptop and it started crashing a lot. Will be on a new desktop soon. Just gotta get another job. Got retrenched, finish in three weeks. Lucky I am sick for a few days now taking some killer antibiotics. Winter crap here.

Akos, Your original image is fantastic and the reflection looks really great!! Dave's re-post is spot on!!!
I fixed the link at the top of page-not sure why it went dead, I wonder if it was from the crash?

Ákos, sorry to hear you are ailing. Hope you get better soon! I'm really impressed with this! Gotta give that a try. Nicely done!! Beautiful base image of the little lady. Winter? What's that? :D (Ducking and running...)

Thanks Kerry and Indy. I always try to remain positive no matter what. Best way to be. Positive thoughts bring positive outcomes.

I touched up the reflection in front and sharpened the top duck. See if this is better. Thanks for the tips and for looking. :)
