When I was shooting film, this was one of the first images I got with a 400mm lens, Nikon body and a blur shot. the specifics are lost in history. The image was my first decent blur shot. The feet of the Woody are almost touching the water and I love the reflections. I just found this when looking in the scanned archives. I know the head angle is off and so was my back since I was twisted a lot to get it. Shot somewhere in Florida.

Hi Steve This would work even better with a horizontal crop It would accentuate the forward motion Got some funky colors and good timing on the touchdown Lots of noise on the bg which actually adds to the image Glad to see you doing blurs My aim when trying the blurs is to have the head reasonably sharp by careful panning

Hey Steve. Agree with Al on this one. Love the blurs, this one needs some work though.;) Maybe a bit less on the exposure to keep the hotspots under control and cranking up the ISO on that roll of film too.:D

    Steve,
This is why I started shooting digital. Scanning is a son of a gun.

Try 16 times over sampling (my ls-4000 will) it really helps with the noise.
