    My original had some problems but I liked the composition so I tried extreme B & W. What do you think?

    Hi John, I took the liberty of cropping the image and adding some canvas to the bottom. I feel it zeros in more on the subjects and makes them stronger. I like the way the bird on the right is represented but the bird on the left appears to be moving away which negates much in the way of interaction. I like your idea and would like to see other comps in this manner.

    THe way this is at present, you could cut the left egret out and flip it to at least face the RHS bird? Cool image regardless. Thanks for sharing. :)

    I agree with Dave's crop, John...the birds were a little too centered as is. I love the highkey look here - you did a very nice job converting it. One suggestion I have is to really fine tune the sharpening even further so every feather in their profile stands at attention.

    John, I really like the look of this one and Dave's comp. suggestions are great. I think your re-post may be a tad over-sharpened.
