It's been awhile since I've posted, but I'm still breathing, eating, living photography on a daily basis.. feel like my summer is officially in full swing with a couple shoots with some moose here in northern Utah. This image was created this morning up in the canyons east of Salt Lake City, specifically Little Cottonwood Canyon. These two younger bulls spent a good amount of time playing with each other, and man, they can move quickly when they want to... ;-)

Great soft light for moose-photography. The pose and head angle of the guy on the right is dead perfect. I wish only that we could see the face of the animal on our left. The blue flowers are my favorite part of the BKGR.

ps: A bit more room on the right would have worked as the moose's heel is close to the frame-edge. Do mooses have heels?

I like the look on the right side moose's face, looks like he's having fun. I also like the grassy, flowered surroundings. A little cooperative head tilt to his left from the moose on the left would've been nice but I do like this view of the spread of his antlers..

    John,
Nice image. I like the soft light and the interaction. The flowers make it look like a walk in the park. Lovely scene.

    Cheers,

Nice shot John. Agree with the comments made so no need to repeat other than TFS. Looks like they had a good time.
