    This is another Ring Neck from the Charles River He actually is showing some of the ring in this one

    Nikon D3 with 400mm 2.8 at f4.8 Iso 560 1/750th on a BushHawk

    Nice light and colors. The bird looks a bit soft on my monitor and I might crop a bit off the top. There is a slight halo around the head. The pattern of the BG looks a bit iffy.

    I see they behaved for you as well. I had a similar pattern appear in my photos from that location. I am wondering if the current caused it.
