This was taken at Ding Darling a couple months ago in the early evening. The spoonbill was hanging out with "those other birds" and when he opened his wings and caught the right light, he really stood out.
Wasn't sure whether to crop differently and/or clone out the birds on the right border. What are your thoughts?

I like the idea of the colorful bird among the brown/gray ones. If the birds that cover the legs and those behind the spoonbill were not there, it would improve the image. The fact that it is backlit does not help and the OOF birds in the foreground don't add to the image. I'm not sure there is a way to make this image work but I'm very interested in other opinions.
