Love the color and the detail, Michael. The stamens (or whatever they are called) at the very top look just a tad soft on my monitor. Otherwise, beautiful and perfect.

Very cool colors and patterns in the flower, Michael, and the black background works well here. The bee is nice and sharp - now, if it was only looking this way. :)

So that's what that is! I had an image of one a few years back and never did know what to call it. (I love this forum!!!)

Beautiful details and the lighting is gorgeous on the bee and flower center. It's a shame you couldn't get the top area crystal sharp as well but I find myself looking past it because the bee and center of the flower are so nice.

    Strange looking flower.
It looks like something out of Star Trek!
    Nice light and superb colours.

The lighting on the flower is very nice and what an interesting flower it is. I looked at it the first time and thought "I wish the bee was not there". But great focus on the bee!

I like the even, dark BG. The lighting is lovely, as are the colors. The only thing that would make it better would be having the bee facing the camera. :-)
