Have been trying for a while to get one sharp in focus. Taken at the Pilansberg Nature Reseve.

Amazing sharp Gerrie, and I like the light and detail in this. Killer BG too. That 600 looks like its producing the goods.;) Very well captured.

Perfectly freezed. The wing position is just superb, with great light and BG, what more does one want.

Nice!! Excellent wing position, and wonderful BG. The yellow bill really stands out nicely. I would only place the bird a little less tight at left, and perform some minor eye fixings (remove second faint catchlight below pupil, and darken pupil)

Ditto Daniel. Lovely light, wing position, and BG. The shoulder looks slightly sharper than the head, but it us barely noticeable, and the head is still very sharp.

    Well Done!

Good sharpness, wing position and BG. I would only put the bird slightly further to the right in the frame.

Yes this is nice and sharp Gerrie, has a good BG and colour. I like the comp as presented.
Just watch the halo, starting to show below the head and tail.
