Spoonbill taken at the Marievale Bird Sanctuary. I decided to spend a bit of time doing a selective blur on the BG as the reeds for me were a tad distracting.

The bird is stunning, good light and sharpness, but I am not sure about the background it looks a bit to blurred to me.

Bird pops nicely Ryan and has good details and sharpness. Don't feel the bg is over blurred as such but a more subtle blur may be preferable.

Hey Ryan, excellent exposure, and pin sharp. I like the angle of flight, showing good wingspread. The BG looks fine to me, and the spoonbill pops very well from the BG too. Well captured.

Very good job on the exposure. Love the way the colors transition on the bird from tip of bill on to the feet. I think you did alright with the BG. I might add a little more room for him to fly into. Congrats.

Great work on the exposure Ryan. Whites well handled. Bird stands out nicely against the BG, which looks fine to me.

Plenty of detail in the whites and the BG as blurred is ok with me.

I cannot for the life of me see any evidence of the PP blurs, so congrats to that! ;)
I love the pose of the bird and light, which ensures plenty of good underfuselage :D details. Thanks for sharing mate. :)
