    Nice light, pose, detail, exposure, ambient and colors, I would try a pano crop leaving the legs out of the frame although it works well as it is too.

    Love the backlight and the grasses right behind the bird. The short grasses in the foreground are not as attractive. You needed to focus and recompose to move the bird back in the frame. You might wish to get rid of some of the more distinct specular highlights above the grasses. The very best thing about this one is the perfect sharpness on the eye.

    Very nice backlighting Mark. I like the preening action, the exposure job and the fantastic BG. Perhaps less room at the right to avoid centering.
