    Elegance


    Taken in Ireland. After two days taking flightshots of Gannets I wanted to try something else, this gannet was letting everybody know it was about to fly off, but it never did..... it just kept showing its elegant sort of dance. After a few shots with the entire gannet showing its behavior I wanted to show the elegance of the bird in close up. The sky was getting densely clouded so I went for some underexposure of the sky and FF the Gannet. I think this shot comes close to what I was going for.

    Canon 300mm L USM + 2x Converter
    Handheld
    Speedlite 580 -1 2/3
