Dug up this photo that I took last year. I was experimenting with a technique where you place a flower in between the camera and the flower you're photographing to get a soft, diffuse look. Can't remember what filters I used on this. Might have been the paint daubs filter, but not sure. :) Any C&C are welcome!

Very nice veiled effect, I like to use that a lot. Wish the three flowers on top were not merging.

Hi Christopher, I like the effect you created. It works well with this type of image. Agree with Fabs about the merging trio on the upper right . Would have liked a composition that filled more of the frame.

I liked the idea of the veiled effect. Agree with Dave on more of the flowers filling the frame. Great work.

Christopher, I really like the feel of this. What about cropping the offending merged flowers up top for a pano
    look?

This has an awesome effect Christopher. I like it. Looks like you had some gorgeous light in which to capture this image.

I really like what you are trying to do here Christopher with the soft focus. What about a bit more contrast?
    Just some ideas for you.

Thanks everyone. I agree about the merging flowers; I wish I had removed the middle flower in that trio before shooting. Oh well. Like what you did, Jackie, with the contrast boost. You all have definitely given me some ideas on how to improve on this. Thanks again!
