Super take-off pose with great wing and talon position. Eye contact is nice, although I might brighten the iris a bit. I'd also remove the dark spot to the left of the bird. The meal is icing on the cake.

Beautiful pose, I love the composition.
I have not been able to go and watch the kites this year, I am planning to go tomorrow morning depending on weather.

Nice take-off pose, and overcast light. Good HA, and wing position. I might selectively lighten the head a tad.

    Well done.

Hi Fabs. I so love this especially with the branch he/she is flying off from in the image. Lovely framing!

    Cheers

Love the take-off and the snack, wish the BG was a little more uniform. Very nice!

Uh, nice, maybe my favorite in the series. Great pose on that bird, snail adds a lot.
I like the perch, very nice and delicate, nice color too.

Fabs, this is a very strong yet subtle image. Love his pose, lunch is a bonus and great comp. Very impressive for ISO 1250! Congrats.

Very nice pose, light, exposure, BG and comp. In my monitor it look a tad soft so I would suggest some more USM.
    Congratulations Fabs, powerfull pose!

Well timed for the take off, and the comp works well. The kite looks sharp enough to me, and good pp work on the sky. Well done Fabs.

    Hola Fabs.

I can't get tired of this images. Lovely raptor.
The wing position is great and BG too. I agree about lightening the eye a bit.

Great action shot. I like the wing pose and the prey in the bill. Very good detail in the wings and a wonderful composition.

I don't see a lot of SK images coming out that have this quality of exposure control. I really like the ones of the bird, and the background really sets it off. It doesn't have that 'the bird was in fog' look to it that so many others seem to have! Great Job!
