    Default Predator And Prey

He was simply walking...but the fear in their eyes(body) tells the story, the primal fear these herbivores have of this animal.

    Taken late in the evening, 40D, at 600mm, f/9, ISO 800, 1/200 ( I think), beanbag, Av.

    Regards,
    Kiran

I like this composition, Kiran, and the details on the tiger are great. I only wish for a little more depth of field for the prey to be more in focus.

Hi Kiran, Great story here! I too wished for a bit more DOF and no merge between the pred and his prey. Interesting view on the subject!!

Thx, Folks ! Dave, yep, story telling image was my idea in the comp. The light was pretty low, I couldn't have gone any lower in terms of aperture...considering the SS. To me, their lives always collide and are intertwined...and that's what is signified in the predator/prey merge.

Thx for your interpretations, folks !

I like as presented, enough DOF to see what's going on and great light.

Interesting interaction and perspective. The high alert fleeing, and slightly OOF herbivores relay the mood very effectively.

Beautiful one Kiran.. loved the feel of the mood.. I prefer this as it is, because if the deers were also in focus the mood would have been lost.

Hi Kiran. Like this. Love the comp and don't mind the deer as presented, as the story is being told and has good atmosphere. Be nice to have more separation but the contrast range carries that.
