    wow...everything seems so RIGHT...i'd heard a lot about this forum...i'm glad i'm getting to learn things from the very best...i never knew a bird could be photographed like this...

    Very nice Jim, I cannot see anything which could improve this image. BTW is this in Cape May ?

    Love the eye contact, wing position and light on this image!
    Maybe a slightly tighter crop?

    Like the banking pose and the side ways gaze of the Merlin. Great light as well.

    Superb picture as many others that you've shared here with folks, very good pose, and also excellent sharpness and exposure. I like the way you shot from above, I wonder if you were you in a cliff or something like that? Good work.
