I love this shot - Did you try Ps for the shot looks a litle overexposed?

Welcome to BPN, Ron. Very dynamic and great interaction. If this is not full frame, I'm wondering if adding more canvas at the bottom would show what the fight is about. Food I guess? :) It might need a bit of CCW rotation but I'm not sure about this.

Nice action shot. It is a bit tight for my taste. Wish a bit more room on the bottom.

    Big welcome, Ron!!

Great action you captured! I see you were with a fixed focal length, so if this is full frame, the only thing you could have done better is point the camera down a bit. Easy to say from my comfortable chair :)

I know how difficult it is to get a perfect framing on an rapidly moving scene, with a fixed long lens.

    Looking forward to more!

Great action Ron and welcome to BPN. I wish it wasn't so tight in the frame, a little brighter and maybe a slight CCW rotation needed?

I like what you were trying to do Ron, going tight to show the action Good for me An alternative would have been showing the fish and more around the birds Totally different image

This is one of those with no clear cut agreement but good any way presented !!!

While I can see a wider shot, I like the tight shot. I'm amazed you managed this shot with no flash and no exposure compensation and still have the highlights in the wings and detail. Nice job. I may have to make the trek to Homer some day.
