This was taken a few weeks ago well out shooting with Doug Brown. We really had a lot of fun with these
birds. I really like the screaming pose and eye contact from this Peregrine I think the crashing waves in the BG
    work well here.

    Thanks For Looking

    James:

Nice pose, action, sharpness and exposure.

When I first viewed it, I thought the image was taken high up, with the bird above the clouds, shooting down. Looks very cool.

I might consider raising the color temp a bit, the bird seems a bit too cool.

    Very nice one.

    Thanks for sharing.

Very cool James, the expression and pose are great
The BG is super cool with nice texture.
The head is sharp but the tail tips look like you blurred them.
Or is it just DOF. In any case great flight image.

    James,

I like it. As Randy mentioned, a little warmth would be good. What did you use (software) to post process this image?

    Thanks
    Mark

    Dreamy...
Love the BG, it looked fake in the first place, but man, is may be my jealousy!!!
Love the pose and eye contact in this one.

    Hey James
Incredible pose man! Love the scream! I think what Ilija is referring to to me looks like perhaps the BG has been blurred in the PP? Just a Q, please don't shoot me. :) I can almost see a distinct, though faint, halo about the bird, which made me think that.
    Thanks for sharing. :)

Love the action, power and great pose here, love the angle, detail and light, although the edges of the bird look foggy on my monitor, wouldn't know why...
    Congratulations!

Great expression and pose. I think the BG was blurred and the tips of tail and wings are showing it?
Also his right side of the face.

great shot, the blurred edges of the bird, caused during post processing spoil the overall shot a bit, I would love to see the original without the post processing.

Here is the original I did a lousy job cloning out the water line down the middle. But as you can see the upper and lower portions of the shot are not blurred on my doing this shot was taken from a cliff downward. The background is
white wash.:) Thanks all for the comments.

No you did'n do lousy job, the tips of the tail were OOF to begin with, but they have some cloudy feel that's why I was wondering.
Actually they add to a misty/cloudy feel of the image, great one in any case.

hi James, thanks for posting the original. i dont think it needs the post processing, great shot. I see what you mean about the tail feathers been blurred. I would just maybe clone out the slight brown blurred object to the left of the birds head and leave it at that.

GReat pose and comp. Ditto the foggy edges. Some TLC will do wonders here

Wonderful image Jim. Love the angle and calling pose. As mentioned, some TLC will do wonders on the feather tips.

You the man! Difficult action to capture and you nailed it. Good points by the others about the wing tips.
