    Beautiful shot. B&W really works here. Today I passed hundreds of similar flowers. But I never thought about making a B&W shot. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Same here! I've done them in color but only once tried black and white. Yours is beautiful, Richard. Great angle to really show off the best part of this flower which, IMO, is the back side! I'm always amazed at how many levels of white/gray there are in something as simple as a flower and you did an excellent job showcasing that.

    Hey Richard, I agree with the others that this is a very well handled image. I like the position of the flower within the frame, exposure, sharpness and detail. The black backround makes the image pop.

    Beautiful details and composition. I usually don't care for flowers in B&W, but this one is stunning.
