    There was some additional info on the site about possible lens releases incorporating the new technology; a macro lens, a new 70-200 2.8, a 24-70 2.8, a 300 2.8, and a 500 4.0.

    Sounds interesting, but I doubt I will update my 500 f4 due to cost. Besides, most of the time the lens is on a tripod. Now, an updated 100-400 or 200-400 constant f4 may catch my credit card ;)

    It seems to be an official press release. DpReview also has it:

    But only about the IS. Nothing official about a new 4/500 or any other lenses.
