    Default Theme, summertime, Sacramento skyline liquified

    Well, it's not a beach or a barbeque but this scene has been a part of my summer's free time! The original capture was made at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, west of downtown Sacramento. The forground is the rippening rice fields that are part of the wildlife area that I have filtered with TopazClean2 (it does work with CS3 BTW) and the BG is the Sacramento city skyline that I have pulled with the liquify filter in CS3! Wierd and fun:D C&C is welcome.

    I like it Dan! I like the transitions between the zones of texture and color and the way you faded the real in the foreground to the surreal in the background. Good show! I'm going to have to get my camera gear up here and start checking out some of these cool places!

    Very creative Dan! What does this most for me is the sharpness in the foreground graduating back to a hazy, non detailed backround. Nice manipulation to get that effect!

    Dan, I really like this. The bg looks like several Sydney Opera Houses (I've only seen it in pictures). I'm sure

    fantastic idea and process. it would make a great pic with the city cropped off too. but then it wouldnt be ootb.

    this is way cool.
