    Don't you sleep? ;)

This is great James. Like how both heads are on the ROT intersecting points. What kind of behavior is this? Courting?

There is such an excellent quality to this shot that I can't explain it. Might be the perfect comp, the nice soft light, the beautiful specimens, the nice BG or the great interaction or maybe it is them alltogether.....excellent stuff!

Very nice interaction between birds, I like the way you cropped/composed this image, it emphasizes the action. The exposure is perfect to me.

    James,

I love the intimacy of this image thanks to great DOF and close crop (in camera or post). Perfect exp and sharp detail combine to make this one to be studied over for a while. Excellent work!

Incredible image, doesn't have that flat 2d feel that most photographs do. Full of texture and interest.

    They really are spooning:):D

Great colors and action capture, lovely image!
Like the low angle here, and the crystal clear eyes and
water. The water came out very nicely.
That Sigma lens is quite good!

    James:

I know you don't print many of your images, but this one deserves it!

    Lovely.

Techs are great, but it is the capture that is so special.

Without a doubt, one of the best images that you've posted on BPN. The BCNH in flight with its prey topped it though.

Froggie, As above, this is the bomb. The soft pastel colors indicate that these are young birds just out of the nest. Great to see you posting. You must be done with the house repairs.

The overall color scheme of the pastel pink on green really works here. I think also that the indirect eye contact with the viewer helps to create the intimacy between the two subjects. Very nice.

    Negatory:).
I am on break until my wife figures out what color to paint the walls.
Once she figures that out, I get to paint, install a new wood / laminate floor(let's see how long it takes to decide on that color:confused:), refinish the cabinets and install the appliances.

The really important stuff like the roof and plumbing are complete.!

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments.

I hope to post one tonight, before I begin the server upgrade.
