Went to one of the many chateaus in France rather late in the day and had 20 minutes to shoot before closing. As you can see by the sky a storm was moving in and the light was pretty flat. I started playing around with a number of the Topaz filters and came up with this which almost reminds me of an illustration you would see in an old childrens book.

Dave, I use to grow Nasturtiums, you don't see them around here that much. I love the way their bright orange dapples the FG. Great sky!! Nicely done.

Dave, beautiful image. It does look like a storybook illustration - the colors are beautiful and there seems to be
so many layers from the fg to the sky.:)

Love the way the flowers pull you into the image. Very nice, Have you tried converted this image to IR? All the textures, the bricks, the sky, the greenery may look nice. Sorry but I a suddenly am on an IR kick. When I was a teenager I was into IR photography and I recently got the bug again.
