    This morning, two GB's were exchanging nips with each other on the same snag. I was too close to get the snag wars shot, but I did get this takeoff. Unfortunately, I was on the wrong side of the sun, because there was no room on the other side, so there are some shadows.

    I like it as is. Love the open beak and wing spread. Shadows are not too bad at all.

    I like the pose and open beak. I don't like the colours under the wing, they look unnatural, like an oil spill colour. ???

    Hi Lance,
    Nice capture! The open beak, curved neck and position of this GBH in the frame are excellent. The color under the wing does appear "off."

    Wow Lance I love the action you captured in this image and the open beak and tongue are a real bonus !! Excellent timing my friend . Anxious to hear about your trip out west. Thanks for sharing !!
