These guys are so prevalent around here I never took the time to notice they are actually quite handsome.

I think they are much better looking birds as juvys. Anyway, great low profile and a lovely colored/blurred bg. Should you have left a little more room on the bottom for the virtual legs? Or would the oof foreground be too much if you did? Beautiful capture!

I like the walking pose, angle, BG and eye contact. More room for the 'virtual legs' might have been good but I don't know what the water in front of the bird looked like.

Great BG and pose Mike. Like this a lot. A bit more room below for me too. :)

Nice pose and good specimen. Agree on cropping off the right and I find the reflection in the water very distracting. Thanks for sharing, Mike.

The HA and the raised leg combo make it very interesting pose.

Gorgeous image and bird, he almost looks innocent. Tack sharp and BG great. I also vote for some room underneath. Congrats.

Super pose captured, sharp and an excellent BG, a bit more room below as you may have amputated the foot. congrats on a good image...

Very nice background, lighting and detail. The low angle really enhances this image.
