This time in flight. The sky was much lighter and I darkened with Viveza, choosing not to add blue.

I like the sharpness, wing position and eye contact, the snail makes it even better.

My favorite of your recent Kite postings. I like being able to see the individual talons. Good job on the white tail feathers which I always struggle with. I like the wings down and a snail is always a bonus.

I might have been in the sun too long today but it appears to me there is a bright line along the leading edge her left wing.

    Thanks, guys.

Mike, I checked the RAW file and the line is there, not as noticeable.

Yeap, that line looks odd, on my monitor is noticeable in all the right wing primary feathers, but I have to be honest, I don't think I would've seen it if Mike didn't bring it up. I would suggest to tone down thre whites from the tail a tad but this one is my favortie from you last series too Fabs. Great pose and comp, nice detail and exppsure!

Love the wing position, eye contact, talons and snail. I might lighten the area of far wing in contact with the snail to visually accentuate the snail.

Very cool pose and flight image, not seen too often. Like the detail and texture on the wings.
I like the sky color too, what is Viveza?

Yes, Ilija, just a change in brightness.

Exposure, composition, action and sharpness all look good to me.
The only thing I could offer as a critique is if the snail was not intersecting the wing(tonalities are so close)the image would IMO be even stronger.

Lovely image. Nice action. Good wing position and sharpness. I agree with Doug and James. If the snail would not have been covered by the wings, then it would have been even better. Great stuff.

Morkel, Viveza is a Color Control Point software. You pick a color and the software will change it to your will, darker, lighter, or change the hue.
You can download a free trail version, and it works as a plugin.
