Taken at Crandon Park, Key Biscayne Florida. The background is water, I darkened it to get rid of minor reflections. A little cropping as well. The bird, among several, was carrying this twig around, occasionally dropping it and picking it up again. Thought it was a sweet offering for a photo.

Lovely pose and the twing is a nice plus, black BGs are not my favorite but it sure works well in this case, nice light, exppsure, colors and detail.

This is different, but I like it. The blue around the eye add to this and the sharpness are great. Comp wise I might cut some from the left and right. Congrats.

Thanks Ramon and Brian. To me, the ibis is a fun subject for close ups, lots of head positions (Jimmy Durante-like, for those of you familiar with the comedian). Because of this quality, I see them as portrait subjects, something, I suppose you don't see much with these common (here in Florida) birds.

I like it! And the way the bird is looking at you is very "Schnozzola"-like.

This is lovely for such a difficult bird. The twig adds to the feel quite a bit.
I like the dark BG here gives nice contrast to the gentle color of the bird.
