This is one of my better images from walking around Quito, Ecuador on 10 July--the day before flying out to the Galapagos with Artie & Co. I was trying to channel my inner Cartier-Bresson.

This was also made about an hour after having my backpack ripped off!!! Gotta stay positive in these circumstances!

    Panasonic Lumix G1 and 45-200mm f/4-5.6 OIS lens. Exposed 1/1000 sec. @ f/5, ISO 400.

Thanks, Al! Fortunately, it looks like TravelGuard is going to cover the backpack & contents.

Ah, I suppose I'll forgive you. I just might post the photos I took of you on the trip, though! :D

Nice work with the Lumix, would have preferred a vertical with the man's whole body in the shot.

    Art,
Thanks for the suggestion, but rest assured that you wouldn't have preferred the vertical: the parked car between me and him would have included the roof and door of the car, and obscured his legs. But, as I said, a good idea and one that I would definitely consider in a similar situation.
