    Dear All

Made this image with D300, 600mm, ISO 400, at F5.6 and 1/2000 of secs
My self critique :-- Would have been better with some more space at bottom

    All C & C welcome and appreciated

Harshad, I agree, I would want more on the bottom and less on top. I'm not a fan of photos of an animal's behind, but glad you were able to get this interesting bird (do you know what it is?) with a head turn.

Ditto Connie on the butt shots... Perfect head turn for this body angle. You might try Gaussian blurring the BKGR as described in my Swallow-tailed Gull post. Sharp with a prefect EXP and quite the beautiful bird.

DOF is preety great so I am Ok with the rear view here, this bird is stunning! Nice BG and although it needs more room at the bottom I like the detail and exppsure you've managed to achieve.

Harshad, a frontal view would have been better but this is still very nice with a great head turn. Love the gold color on his neck. Very interesting bird that I have never seen. Congrats.

Wonderful bird Harshad. Light appears a touch harsh, but you managed well. Good look-back pose. TFS ;)
