My first post in the wildlife section - This image was taken in the rain at a hyena den site in the Kruger Park, South Africa. The image is FF, the rain and wet conditions seemed to bring out the colors quite vividly, your comments are always appreciated.

I love the real sense of movement as the cubs lean into their departure.

Is that small white spot above the right cub's right ear an insect, or a blemish? Either way, you may wish to consider removing it. Same thought for the two darker specks under the mother's neck.

Overall, excellent action photo, Ryan. The soft light of the rainy day is a plus.

Thanks for the comments folks, the spots above the cubs are, as Peter said, Flies and all part of the general scene at a Den.

Love the eye contact of the cub and the use of depth of field complimented by the African summer colours and detail -so typical Kruger

Lovely shot Ryan! The soft light from the rain works a treat here as do the subjects. Glad you kept the flies... all part of the joys of Africa. :). Nice shot!

One animal I still need a decent shot of. Great eye contact from the little guy, and I like the light and exposure in this. Well captured Ryan.
