    I think you could crop it a bit tighter though.

    Lovely one.. loved the opp pose of the birds.. the branch add well to the frame.. I too would like a tighter crop. congrats...

    Good capture of the confrontation. I like the head angles and dangling feet and might remove the dark spot between the bills and might sharpen the birds a little bit more. Thanks for sharing!

    Agree that a tighter crop would definately improve this one, but the natural moment and BG as well as perch and light look very nice! Aslo, great DOF as both birds look very sharp. Congratulaitons!

    What a unique opportunity to capture a scene like this. And you did it well.
    Axel suggested : "might remove the dark spot between the bills" I'm old fashioned, I would prefer to use the dodge tool like in my old darkroom days.

    Either way, the dark spot not being there would make this unique action image even better.

    I think this is a very difficult image to shot. They're usually very fast and it's hard to keep both birds in the same focus plane to get a decent sharp photo. I would clone out the black smudge between two birds
