    Default THEME: Summertime in Brittany

I was out chasing windmills one day(remembering Don Quixote) and came across this cart. I used the Topaz portrait smooth filter for the effect. It was midday when I found this and I did the best I could with the light.

    Hey Dave.,
Great effect with topaz here. Light is fine by me, you do what you can when you're there. I like the country atmoshpere in the image and the lush greenery screams to me SUMMER! :)

Dave. Excellent composition here! I like the cart pointing directly to building in the background, the perspective and the depth. Well done. As far as filters, I would have gone to more of a watercolor effect, in that the strong colors here seem to detract from the outstanding compositional placement of elements. But thats just me. . regards~Bill

Hi Dave, love the composition too. I do agree with Mr. Bill that the colors are a bit saturated for the image but that is just taste. Do like it as presented!

Very nice comp although I have to say the yellow/greens are quite bright! Still, after you get over that initial shock of color, it's really quite pleasing.
