    Here is the same elk from the other day. The only thing that bugs me is the snow field in the background. Could not really reposition myself without losing the regal pose of this elk. Thanks for looking.

    The snow field dont bother me as it is a part of habitat and field

    great images you have been posting of this elk... agree with your view on the snow being distracting... but as you said nothing you could have done... thats the way it goes...

    would have love to see the Elk surrounded totally by a sea of those beautiful wild flowers...

    Superb one.. the BG is fine. Loved the HA and the textures are well exposed.. congrats..

    The pose from this is just superb and strong enough to carry the snowfield distraction IMV. (is part of the scene so not troublesome).

    I like the proud pose, and the light in this is simply outstanding. This is pin sharp, and there enough punch from the Elk to turn a blind eye over the snow in the BG.

    Great details and pose of this elk, Dan. The snow is a little distracting, but still a great image overall. I like the wildflowers in the foreground, too.
