Default Puerto Rican Emerald and American Kestrel

My camera has been collecting dust, but I have keep lurking the forum ... Almost a month and my elbow is still bothering me, although it was getting better, until I went to Puerto Rico and start shooting again.
Anyway I am not completely naive, I don't think that the IQ, composition and angle of light are the best (or good), but for me this is one in a lifetime, I was shooting the Kestrel when the humming bird started hovering around the Kestrel (not sure why)..

    C/C are appreciated, Raul

I agree with your self-critique. Just imaging how wonderful it would be if they're all sharp. The fact that they are facing two different directions give some kind of tension to this photo.

Cool capture, ditto what Desmond said.

Very interesting behavior. I've seen hummingbirds 'attack' songbirds but never raptors, particularly an agile one like a kestrel.

A bit noisy and too bad that the kestrel is cropped but I am glad that you decided to post this one Raúl. It is a very interesting behavioral image :-)
