Nothing fancy here. This is a photo taken in Trinidad five or six years ago. I think it's a native hibiscus, but not sure. I used Topaz Simplify a few times and then sharpened.

Cindy, I like the colors they are so lovely. The effect looks really nice and you did a fine job with this one. I see a few straight lines in the LRC I 'd take care of before print. I added the word Theme to your post so it qualifies for the contest-cause this is screaming summer!!Way to go!!

Hi Cindy...I like the tonality of the image and placement of the subject. The colors are very complimentary. The blue sky is pleasing and would have wished for a continuation of it throughout as opposed to the large white area on the right. If this were mine I would take out the small purple petals at the base.
Oops! Thanks for adding the "Theme" to the title, Denise, I just forgot. Dave, I'd debated about cloning out the clouds with blue, so thanks for your input there.
WOW! Way cool Cindy! This looks like a Boganvillea (not sure of exact spelling) we get in OZ. An awesome image and your rendering makes it a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Cindy. Maybe not fancy, but definitely elegant. Very nice use of the effect and the colors are great. Well done!

Nice colors, Cindy. Btw, these are bougainvillea.
Great colors, Cindy - this image pops! I do wish there were more clouds around the purple leaves as that would help set them up against the blue BG better. Overall, it's nicely done.
