Theme: Fireworks

This is a fireworks display at the end of the last Cincinnati Reds Game in Riverfront stadium before it was torn down to build a new stadium. I took this back in 2002 and the camera was the Canon D60. There was something magical about the colors from that camera. I ran this through several of the Topaz filters until I got the effect that I liked.

Hi Lana, I concur with Denise on the colors and like the smoke emanating from the bursts which hide some of the prominence of the rear buildings. The starbursts on the bottom are also a nice touch. Good use of the filters also!

Great fireworks shot, Lana! Very nice effects with the stadium and the Carew Tower,etc lit in the background.
