    Default Peregrine strikes THE POSE!

I spent over a week photographing Peregrine Falcons earlier this summer. Getting one with this pose against a mountain BG in good light happened all of one time during that entire week plus. I was happy to lock focus for this image!

    Doug:

Great dorsal view, sharp throughout, good HA and crying pose!

    Nicely exposed too.

Purely as a matter of personal taste, I might darken the background a bit.

    Thanks for sharing.

Truly amazing! Love everything about this one! The pose is perfect and the fanned tail killer, the BG is fine by me and the open beak is the icing on the cake! Well done man!

Love the open beak, banking pose, and perfect HA. Nice light, and exposure. The BG is not my favorite, but I don't mind it here.

    Well Done!

    Doug,
This simply rocks. Glad that the week long trip ended up in at least this image. It's well worth the trip alone. Awesome pose and I too love the fanned tail. Killer man! Thanks for sharing.

Great banking angle showing the dorsal view very well. Incredible detail and light, and the open beak takes it over the top for me. Well captured Doug.
