    Hi All,

Another Gannet trying to land here. Thought this one was a little more special cause of the pose. Lightened the eye a bit and cropped all around for compositionional purposes. Tell me what you think.

Perfect HA for this head-on collision Krijn. I love the spread wings and anticipation in the look of the bird as it lands. Lighting is great too. Thanks for sharing. :)

Super image Krijn, excellent pose and wing-spread captured with good eye contact. I think you have exposed this perfectly. You could most probably take a little bit more off the top of the image if I was ti nit-pick, but a superb image as is...

I just love those open wings in anticipation of landing. Wonderful light to see the nice detail on the underside. Best of all to me is the head turn and look on his face. Well done.

    Krijn,

Super sharp, eye contact, and perfect EXP put this over the top for me. Lots of detail to study here. Great work!

In a perfect world the bill's shadow would not be present on the neck, but I love the feet's shadows on the tail! Good pose, exposure, and sharpness :-)

I totally agree with you Daniel, would probably not be too hard to clone it out though, but I was being lazy I guess :o

    Thanks again,

    Krijn

Cool pose and head angle. I would only lighten the shadow of the bill since the shadows of the feet look lighter.

Love the pose, exposure, detail, colors, comp and sharpness, light was harsh but you managed to get great detail.

    Hi Ramon,

Thanks for your comments but I have to respectfully dissagree with your harsh light comment. This was taken at 19:30 PM with some pretty good light. Not super warm light but defenitely not harsh IMHO.

    Cheers,

    Krijn
