Plustek 7500i AI Film Scanner Any One Use?

I am considering buying this unit. does anyone have experience with it? Is it good enough to scan old Ektachrome slides to preserve them in the digital world? I know Nikon scanners are the gold standard, but the price is much higher.

Al, let us know the where, quality and price per scan. I have a CoolScan, but would consider it for some images if the quality is up to your standards. Know that would satisfy mine! ;)
