Took this at local bird spot in Pretoria. Thought I'll share this. I like the way of the freeze frame just before he touch the water.

Great pose and comp. Like the blue water. You got some noise on the wings here. Pity the feet are in shadow. Still great one

Hey Chris, where is the duck landing, water or a mirror? :-D
Wow, the water looks fantastic, like a mirror. You have some noise in the wings and in the reflection but I love the action, wing´s pose, eye contact, light and FANTASTIC feet position. Amazing :-D

I love the moment here, GREAT timing, I like everything (pose, BG, colors, light, detail, etc) only wish you were lower.
    Congratulations.

Wow, you caught it just before touch down, great action shot and I think its is turned toward you just enough.

Its a beautiful shot, well timed. I agree with Ramon's comment on getting a bit lower would help a lot. Also, as Juan pointed out on the noise, it needs some noise removal. Overall the light on the bird and blue smooth BG more is a big plus. Congrats!!

Very well timed Chris. I like the turned back wings for landing, and that water is like a mirror. Well captured.

Excellent timing & image frozen sharply with good detail, colours & angle of flight.
