    Got this beautiful bird this morning sitting in a termite hill enjoying the sunrise. We both did actually.

    Spec: 1/800, F 5.6, -1/3, ISO 400.

    Canon 40D + 500mm + 1.4TC

    Great tight shot. Like the colours. I would lighten it just a bit. Also see a halo on the chest area and on left off the "ant hill". Did you blur the bg?

    Thanks Kobus Yeah I did notice the halo and went back and checked the RAW too, that too has a slight halo thats blew up after PP. Here the repost with the corrected halo and a little brightness, hope it look ok.

    SUPERB textures in th eplumage and what a great soft light. The eye contact is very good and love the perch. A bit of more room at the left to avoid centering of the bird would be great.

    I agree with Juan about comp, but light, colors, species, sharpness, detail, BG and perch are great IMO.

    Kiran, as always its very sharp and beautiful picture with nice HA.
    Infact you have captured many birds from India in a beautiful fashion and am sure made it a hotspot for lot of photographers, wanting for an opportunity to come and take pics in India. Congrats!!

    Super image and detail captured here Kiran, is this FF if not I would add a bit to the right to get that eye more central, however a super image as is...
